From Paris with Love (Doubting Abbey, #2)From Paris with Love by Samantha Tonge
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I absolutely loved Doubting Abbey, so I was really excited about reading From Paris With Love and I wasn’t disappointed.
FPWL has a lively pace and tone and it’s hysterical from the start. It was wonderful to meet up with Gemma and Edward from Doubting Abbey again, and to see how their relationship was progressing. I wondered what direction their love would move in as they went to stay in one of the most romantic cities in the world. Let’s just say that Samantha Tonge keeps the reader guessing and hoping and wishing for a HEA. ;-)Ooh! And the male characters just keep getting hotter – think undercover agents and rockstars – this book has it all!
I’ve never actually been to Paris but I feel like I’ve just returned from a holiday there. Samantha Tonge describes the city so vividly and with such passion that I could see the famous landmarks, hear the city noise and smell the delicious food.
I have to admit that I cried through the end of the novel. The way that the conflicts were resolved for the characters (and there are even more fabulous characters to adore in this book) just left me reaching for the tissues. And for some reason, I just really want a chocolate croissant now…
FPWL is a great summer read to take on holiday or to curl up with on a rainy afternoon at home.
